BMW takes the design aesthetics presented by coupé through years of experience to another level of interpretation, injecting driving pleasure, and handling performance into the car's DNA. And that's how BMW's unique Gran Coupé was born. From The 6 Series Gran Coupé launched in 2012, to The 4, The 8, and to the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé, these four-door coupés are loved by car enthusiasts, and the BMW Gran Coupé family continues to grow.

The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé lends an extremely light appearance to authority on wheels of up to 18″ in size. The distinctive BMW kidney grille, LED headlights and rear lights, frameless doors, powerful shoulders and the sporty rear – sheer authority that is also reflected in the interior. With Interior illuminated trim finishers with ‘Mesh’ accent on the instrument panel and front door panel and optional sport seats, the driver-oriented cockpit creates an ambience that is exclusive and dynamic in equal measures. At the same time, the two 10.25″ displays with Live Cockpit Professional and the BMW Head-Up Display keep you fully informed.

Striking Front Design.
The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé is sporty, flat and wide on the road. Particularly expressive lines create a self-confident, sporty impression from the front. The headlights are slightly angled and emphasise the striking four-eyed face. In the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé, the typical BMW double kidney grille is designed as a large connected element, giving the front even more presence.
Frameless doors.
The elegant frameless doors complement the elegant lines of the vehicle and underline the sporty character of the vehicle.
LED headlights.
The LED headlights include low-beam and high-beam headlights and turn indicators with full LED technology. The equipment also features cornering lights, daytime running lights and headlights with city, country and motorway mode for excellent illumination of the road ahead and better visibility in the dark.
LED rear lights.
The LED rear lights highlight the dynamic rear of the vehicle and provide optimum illumination of the roadway as well as better visibility and recognisability in the dark.
Atmospheric Lights Package.
The Atmospheric Lights Package contains various LED lights and yields an ambience of pure quality in the interior. The six selectable light designs light up the interior with a style.
BMW Live Cockpit Professional.
The BMW Live Cockpit Professional with navigation function includes two high-quality displays consisting of a high-resolution 10.25" Control Display that can be operated by touch and a fully digital 10.25" instrument display. The BMW Operating System 7.0 can also be operated via the iDrive Touch Controller.

The shimmering pattern of the discreetly backlit finishers creates both an attractive as well as a pleasant atmosphere in the vehicle.
Sport seats for driver and front passenger.
The Sport seats for driver and front passenger are characterised by seat and backrest bolsters that are larger than those on the standard seats and, together with adjustable thigh support, for excellent ergonomics and better lateral support during fast cornering. In addition to the seat depth (mechanical), the backrest width (electric) can also be adjusted on the driver's seat.

LARGE AIR CURTAINS.
Large air intakes on the left and right below the kidney grille show the dynamic front of the new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé in its sportiest form.
DOORS WITH FRAMELESS WINDOWS.
Frameless doors give the view from the side a smooth, consistent appearance. This high-quality detail allows the eye to devote itself entirely to the stretched design lines and tightly stretched surfaces of the side design.
LED HEADLIGHT.
The Adaptive LED headlights ensure that the illumination of the roadway is optimally adapted to every driving situation and dazzle-free. At the same time, they emphasise the sporty, lively character of the new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé.
STRIKING FRONT DESIGN.
The characteristic double kidney grille in the new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé is designed as a large connected element. The mesh look inspired by racing instead of classic slats creates an elaborately three-dimensional weave [...].

The new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé is wide and sporty on the road. Together with the powerfully flat modelled greenhouse, an unmistakable impression on self-confident dynamics is created from every perspective.
SPORTY REAR APRON.
The M rear apron is equipped with black high-gloss inserts in the lower area. These impressively underline the already broad stance of the new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé and make it appear even lower on the road.
CHROME TAILPIPE TRIM STRIPS.
Depending on the engine, the double-flanged tailpipe trims are round or bevelled towards the roadway and have an exclusive free-form design. They already give a glimpse of the sound of the powerful engine from the outside.
LED REAR HIGHLIGHTS.
The flat LED rear lights extend far into the rear and emphasise the athletic width. A black high-gloss band integrates the BMW logo and combines the two rear lights into a horizontal emotional statement.

The new-generation BMW TwinPower Turbo 2.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel engines demonstrate agile power delivery coupled with excellent responsiveness, even at low engine speeds. The 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission offers incredibly sporty gear changes. In SPORT mode and with the gear lever in the left-hand S/M position, the gear shifts are configured for the maximum performance.

BMW Virtual Assistant.

Parking Assistant.
Parking Assistant makes parking the vehicle easier. The Rear View camera provides a clearer view behind the vehicle. Active Park Distance Control offers increased protection against damage caused by parking. Parking Assistant parks the vehicle automatically, parallel or perpendicular to the street, and leaves parallel parking spaces. The Reversing Assistant supports you when reversing, e.g. in narrow lanes.
Gesture Control.
With BMW Gesture Control, selected functions can be operated by means of defined hand movements. Simple gestures such as ‘swiping’ or ‘pointing’ are identified in the recognition area above the centre console and trigger functions such as accepting or rejecting an incoming telephone call, proceeding or cancelling navigation as well as starting and ending voice recordings.
Reversing Assistant.
The Reversing Assistant records up to 50 m of the road you have driven forwards so that it can reverse the vehicle automatically in the same direction if you wish. The distance of the remaining route is shown in the image of the Rear View camera.
Wireless Charging.
Telephony with wireless charging incorporates a wireless charging dock and a second microphone for a better hands-free voice quality for you.
