EXTERIOR DESIGN.
THE FRONT.
The extreme emphasis on breadth and X typical elements give the front of the BMW X3 an extremely distinctive look. An especially angular BMW kidney grille and the redesigned bumper with vertical air inlets in the triangular interpretation highlight its exceptional authority. The full LED headlights lowered by approx. 10 mm complete the overall picture of the BMW X3 with a modern and focused expression.
THE REAR.
The redesigned rear of the BMW X3 creates an effect that is both striking and modern. Sculptured Full LED headlights further emphasise its presence. Broad, flush free-form tailpipes pick up on the horizontal lines in the upper section and underline the modernity. Combined with the redesigned underbody protection, the rear of the BMW X3 presents a clear and powerful face to the road.
Slim Headlights.
Particularly slim headlights intensify the striking look of the BMW X3 on the road ahead. Equipped with full LED technology, they guarantee optimum illumination of the road.
INTERIOR DESIGN.
BMW Live Cockpit Professional.
The BMW Live Cockpit Professional with navigation function includes an instrument panel with a fully digital 12.3” (31.2 cm) Instrument Display and BMW Operating System 7.0 with variable configurable widgets.
Sport seats for driver and front passenger.
The adjustable Sport seats for the driver and front passenger feature numerous manual adjustment options, including fore-and-aft position, and the backrest and seat angle. Addition for the driver: backrest width adjustment.
Galvanic embellisher for controls.
Optional, exclusive galvanic embellishers on control elements for power windows, multifunction buttons on the steering wheel, the door control panel and the door lock switch create a high-quality impression.
DRIVING DYNAMICS
TwinPower Turbo engine.
TwinPower Turbo 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine offers maximum driving pleasure. It stands out, thanks to its spirited power development and spontaneous response even at low revs.
BMW xDrive.
The intelligent BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system smoothly and variably distributes drive power to the front and rear wheels for added traction, driving dynamics and safety in every driving situation.
Steptronic Sports Transmission.
The 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission offers incredibly sporty gear changes. Whether automatic or manual using the selector lever or gearshift paddles – for comfortable coasting or incredibly dynamic driving.
DRIVING ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS.
Parking Assistant Plus.
The Parking Assistant Plus makes parking and manoeuvring the vehicle easier. It features among others the Surround View system including Top View, Panorama View, Remote 3D View, as well as a lateral parking aid, the emergency braking function Active Park Distance Control, Parking Assistant with longitudinal and lateral guidance and Reversing Assistant.
Surround View Camera with 3D View.
Surround View includes the camera-based functions like Rear View Camera, Panorama View, Top View and 3D View. The cameras in the exterior mirrors as well as at the front and rear of the vehicle allow for a 360° all-around vie
Cruise Control with Braking function.
Cruise Control with braking function stores and maintains any selected speed above 30 km/h, eve when going downhill - if necessary by means of automatic brake intervention. It is operated via the multifunction buttons on the steering wheel.

Gesture Control.
With BMW Gesture Control, selected functions can be operated by means of defined hand movements. Simple gestures such as ‘swiping’ or ‘pointing’ are identified in the recognition area above the centre console and trigger functions such as accepting or rejecting an incoming telephone call, proceeding or cancelling navigation as well as starting and ending voice recordings.
UPGRADES
Driving Assistant.
With driver assistance systems, lane departure warning and active feedback provide alerts and guidance to help keep you in your lane. The front collision warning with brake intervention, including at turning and road junctions, can help you avoid or reduce the severity of a collision. The Manual speed limit assist feature allows you to set and maintain a desired speed, while the evasion assistant can assist with steering during emergency manoeuvres.
BMW Laserlight.
In laser high-beam mode, BMW Laserlight illuminates a range of up to 650 m, nearly twice as far as that of conventional headlights. Better visibility in the dark significantly increases safety. Blue accents and the lettering "BMW Laser" in the headlight also underline the technological standards and the sportiness of the vehicle.
Leather Vernasca Upholstery.
The X3 M Sport Shadow features genuine leather Vernasca upholstery. Leather Vernasca is offered in two flavours: The Mocha upholstery offers a dark and subtle theme while the Black with constrast stitching in blue with M elements offers a sporty touch.
Kidney Grille in High Gloss Black.
Make an impression that lasts from the first glance: The high-gloss black kidney grille gives the front of the car an even more dynamic and athletic look.
